Reverse Engineering Part 3

Reverse Engineering Part 3
The work continues...

I am currently dealing with a severe case of Pertussis (Whooping cough) and have been in isolation in the hospital most of the week so I was not able to do much this week, but this was the best I could do. I had a very difficult time getting certain things to work like extrude and split, I'm sure there was a certain order for me to do things but I could not figure it out. I made about 10 different versions of the body and head in different ways before I settled on what I have now at 5am after working on it for more than 12 hours straight.. I think it looks good so far but the trial and error of this project is excruciating. hopefully once I recover and my brain is clear, it will be easier. It is hard to tell with the shiny metal render but the insides of this project are extremely intricate and complicated, I am trying my best to represent the inside and out of this model accurately.
